NVIDIA Academic Grant Program Online Briefing

To assist internal teachers in understanding and participating in the NVIDIA Academic Grant Program, NVIDIA Taiwan Center will hold an online briefing on December 17, 2024 (Tuesday) from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. The briefing will be conducted by NVIDIA researchers who will provide a detailed introduction to the program and share recommendations and tips for writing proposals that meet the program’s standards. We sincerely invite internal teachers who are interested in this program to sign up. About the NVIDIA Academic Grant Program

The aim of the NVIDIA Academic Grant Program is to provide computational support to the academic community and assist research teams in advancing innovative research. Selected proposals will receive the following resource support based on research needs:

    • Jetson Orin Nano Development Kit
    • Jetson AGX Orin Development Kit
    • NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada
    • Up to 32,000 hours of A100 40GB computing time or equivalent resources

Scope of Applications

The research areas covered by this program include but are not limited to:

    • GenAI & LLMs (Scientific Applications, Multi-modality, Train/Customize/Accelerate)
    • Simulation and Modeling (Quantum Computing, Scientific Simulation, CFD, Physics-informed ML)
    • Edge AI (6G, Federated Learning, Smart Spaces, Autonomous Driving, Robotics)
    • Data Science (Processing, Route Optimization, Statistical Methods, Graph Analytics, GNNs)
    • Graphics and Vision (AR/VR, Ray Tracing, Rendering, AI for Graphics, Simulation)

Application Notes

    • Each faculty member is limited to submitting one proposal per year.
    • Proposal submission period: October 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024
    • Announcement of results: March 2025
    • Expected hardware shipping date: May 2025
    • GPU usage period: April 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025
